Founded in 2003, IAG provides management consulting, customer satisfaction tracking, market research, data mining, analysis and software development.

The firm’s professionals bring analyst and executive-level experience from airlines and consulting firms; with hands-on management expertise from leading companies along with leading analytics and highly level creative thinkers.

IAG consists of a team of professionals based in the United States and Europe, serving clients worldwide. IAG's team is small but extraordinarily productive and prides itself on its thought leadership. Please see our blogs as evidence.

IAG's clients hold the firm in high regard - here is an example - "As an investment analyst who does not specialize in the aviation industry, IAG's blog and regular podcasts have given me a competitive advantage in my analysis. With your help I have been able to capitalize on the financial market's inability to correctly analyze the severity of a program's problems." It is the firm's mantra that we take special care of clients.

IAG also provides a range of advisory services to corporate and financial clientele through its consulting work with the Gerson Lehrman Group.

  • AirInsight has published: Air Service to Small and Medium-Sized American Airports: Preparing for the Inevitable which explains the disruption that is coming to American communities. We estimate up to 30 communities may stand to lose direct air service. Buy it here.
  • IAG has started a joint venture podcast series with Military.com - take a look here.
  • Report - here. It is titled "The Coming Narrow-Body Re-Engining Programs for the A320 and 737NG Families -- The alternative to new aircraft programs".
  • IAG is pleased to announce its first webinar. Set for February 24 2010, we will host a one hour webinar in conjunction with Air Transport World discussing how travel industry should be using social media for crisis management. Every crisis in travel becomes instant front page news (think hotel fire, plane crash, terrorism, etc.). With social media at full throttle 24/7, how are you going to handle the next crisis? We have assembled a fine panel who will discuss their own experiences handling crises - and how social media could have helped or did help. Limited space means you need to sign up soon please. Details here.
  • The AirInsight team has released a report entitled "The Coming Aerospace Squeeze - A review of commercial aircraft programs in Brazil, Canada, China, Japan and Russia." This report summarizes current and planned aircraft programs in each of these countries and the potential impact of those programs on the commercial aerospace market. See our store for available reports.

  • IAG is pleased to announce its latest report titled "The Airline Industry & Social Media - A must-have strategic guide for airline marketing and sales." This 60+ page report was produced in conjunction with The Centre For Asia Pacific Aviation and TheTravelStrategist.com. The report is available here.

IAG is following up this report with a shorter document that airlines can use as a guide of how to roll out a social media strategy - a step by step process. If you are interested in this guide, please contact us.

  • Thinking about the combination of social media and mobile technology? Have you considered the confluence of these two items and how they are going to impact on your business or brand? IAG has been doing quite a bit of thinking about this - take a look here.

  • IAG announces its latest 50+ page report titled "Independent Market Analysis and Outlook for Airbus SAS", produced under our analysis brand AirInsight. Please click here for an instant download.

  • IAG is delighted to announce its AirInsight aviation data service. Take a look at it here. Please do watch the demo video.

This data service currently includes the following US DOT databases; DB1B, Form 41, T-100 and On-time. The service allows users to data mine on the fly. Tests show it processes 40m records in about 20 seconds. That is a tough act to beat. In a small market with a handful of competitors, our solution stands out and offers tremendous value for money and spectacular performance.

  • IAG speaks with many industry leaders. Some of these conversations are recorded as thought leadership. Always unique, full of insight and often rather funny, these conversations provide listeners with new perspectives. Our Executive Interviews are here

  • Probably the most disturbing aviation event in 2009, IAG decided immediately after the crash to call its contacts and see what could be understood from the minimal data available. What started out as one call developed into a ten part series that is heralded as "unprecedented" by trade media. Air France 447 information

  • As an analysis firm, we not only undertake custom work for clients. We also perform news analysis every day. What are the key pieces of news? What does it mean? What might the impact be? Subscriptions to our analysis provides access to a closed blog (with great community commentary) as well as access to our premium audio content. Subscribe here.

This is a great project which provides travelers with fresh and unusually human insights into places to visit. Click to visit.
