Undergoing renewed production impetus as new Russian army units are equipped with the type, the KA-50 is now able to deploy up to four R-73 AAM's. The latest models feature a heavily upgraded target aquisition system, full exhaust heat suppression engineering, & a new avionics suite. The targeting system can now be slaved to a remote master control. India & Iran are evaluating the type currently.
