Flightglobal Launches ATS Pro – essential US Airline data at your fingertips
Flightglobal, the world’s leading provider of aerospace news and data, has launched an exciting new US focused aviation data service, ATS Pro.
ATS Pro delivers data from the US Department of Transportation (DoT) on airlines and air cargo carriers and caters for aviation analysts and consultants. ATS Pro is powered by AirInsight Data Services and is developed by OBC Group (Washington, DC) in collaboration with Innovation Analysis Group (San Diego, CA).
ATS Pro brings together data from four US DoT sources and combines them into one SQL database. This is accessed from a PC via Excel which transforms it into a fully integrated and extremely powerful research and analysis tool.
The four modules are:
Ticket Data: from The Bureau of Transportation Statistics’ (BTS) Passenger Origin and Destination (O&D) Survey – a 10% samples of all airline tickets for U.S. carriers.
Financial Data: Financial statements from major, national and large regional airlines that are required to report to the U.S. DoT
On-Time Data: Reported to the U.S. DoT and BTS by 16 U.S. air carriers with at least 1% of total domestic scheduled service passenger revenues, plus two other carriers.
Traffic Data: Reported by U.S. carriers operating between airports located within the boundaries of the U.S. and its territories.
